Blue Moon White (12 oz bottles) – $1.69 each
Blue Moon® Belgian White is one of the first year-round release back in 1995. It started with their brewmaster, Keith Villa, wanting to craft a beer inspired by the flavorful Belgian Wits he enjoyed while studying brewing in Belgium. He brewed his interpretation using Valencia orange peel versus the traditional tart Curaçao orange peel, for a subtle sweetness, and added a touch of coriander to provide balance. Then he added oats and wheat to create a smooth, creamy finish that’s inviting to the palate. As a final touch, he garnished the beer with an orange slice to heighten the citrus aroma and taste. Its natural unfiltered appearance adds to the depth of flavors in Belgian White.

Collectible Whites!

2013 Chateau de Beaucastel Blanc, Chateauneuf du Pape, France (750ml)  $79.99
Beautiful golden yellow color. The nose is mineral with notes of white flowers, honey and marmalade. On the mouth, the wine is round and rich in yellow fruits like peaches and apricots followed by notes of salted butter caramel and a slightly salty finish.
Blend: 80% Roussanne, 15% Grenache Blanc, and 5% Picardan, Clairette, and Bourboulenc
Winemaker’s Notes

“Reminding me of the 2012, the 2013 Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc, which was just bottled two weeks ago, has fabulous richness and depth in its honeysuckle, tangerine, white flowers and buttered almond-like aromas and flavors. It too shows the freshness and purity of the vintage, with integrated, yet juicy acidity, good concentration and serious length. ”
94 points, The Wine Advocate

“Ripe and lush, with delicious Jonagold apple, creamed pear and melon flavors. Shows a buttered edge on the finish, delivering hints of verbena and bitter almond for contrast. Drink now through 2020.”
93 points, Wine Spectator

2015 Brundlmayer, Grune Veltliner “Terrassen”, Kamptal, Austria (750ml) – $29.99
A funky yeasty richness still lingers on this very young wine, the palate, however, shows all the promise of a concentrated yet refreshing wine: there is ripe, juicy pear flesh at the core, framed by zesty lime that swings with the peppery freshness of arugula and watercress. This is full of life, concentration, charm and refreshment.
93 Points, Wine Enthusiast

2013 Guigal Saint-Joseph Blanc “Lieu-Dit”, Saint-Joseph, France (750ml) – $59.99
“One of the top whites in the appellation, Guigal’s 2013 Saint Joseph’ Lieu Dit’ Saint Joseph Blanc comes from the pure granite soils of the namesake vineyard of the appellation and is a blend of 93% Marsanne and 7% Roussanne. It was aged in slightly less new oak in 2013 (prior vintages saw 100% new) with the goal to make it more approachable on release. Now aged 12 months in two-thirds new and one-third 2-year-old barrels, it sports a medium-gold color to go with sensational notes of crème brulee, caramelized peach, toast and almond paste, with additional minerality emerging on the palate. Full-bodied, rich and textured, it’s a serious Saint Joseph Blanc that will stand toe-to-toe with some top white Hermitage. Drink it over the coming decade or more.”
93 Points, Wine Advocate

2012 Dujac, Vosne Romanee “Aux Malconsorts”, Burgundy, France (750ml) – $299.99
” The 2012 Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts has a sophisticated, mineral-driven bouquet with great clarity, less fruit and more restrained than the Beaux Monts but with greater focus. The palate is medium-bodied with a real candied, bonbon element, a core a sweetness that lends this real personality and wonderful poise on the finish. Lovely.”
94-96 points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate

” *Outstanding, Don’t Miss!* Reduction. This is completely different from the Beaux Monts, particularly in terms of size and weight as there is real muscle to the impressively concentrated and ripe medium-bodied plus flavors that culminate in a hugely long finish that coats the palate with dry extract. The supporting tannins are also markedly firmer and it’s clear that this will require around 15 years to completely realize its full, and considerable, potential yet it should be approachable after 10 years or so. In a word, impressive.”
92-95 points, Allen Meadows – Burghound

” Bright medium red. Captivating floral lift to the aromas of raspberry, minerals and truffle. Dense, sweet and utterly seamless, communicating a powerful impression of truffley soil tones but also plenty of high-pitched floral and mineral perfume. Boasts bulletproof fruit and yet this wine is perfectly harmonious today. The palate-staining finish leaves the taste buds humming. A brilliant example of its vintage.”
94 points, Stephen Tanzer

“The 2012 Vosne-Romanée Aux Malconsorts is shaping up to be a real beauty. Dark, sensual and expressive, the 2012 is wonderfully open today, which is quite surprising.
As always, Malconsorts is defined by a textural feel of nearly indescribable finesse. There is plenty of that in the 2012.”
94 points, Antonio Galloni/ Vinous

2006 Standish “The Relic” Shiraz, Barossa Valley, Australia (750ml) – $139.99
“Fragrantly scented, taughtly structured and finely poised – this femme fatale represents the more reserved face of the Barossa. Delicately portioned and beautifully balanced its fragrant notes of acacia petal, crème de cassis and parfait amour are supported by an underlying swath of Szechuan pepper, Guatemalan cocoa and damp limestone. Supple, lithe and without any hint of ‘palate drag’, its youthful ease shouldn’t detract from the sea of promise it holds for the future”
Winemaker’s Notes

“This prodigious wine showcases Barossa’s ability to deliver big, mouth-filling flavors without any suggestion of heat or heaviness. Scents of stone fruit, pepper and red currants mark the nose, while the flavors take on a darker cast, heading toward black cherries and black olives. The tannins are supremely silky, but this graceful, feminine beauty should drink well through at least 2020.”
98 points, Wine Enthusiast

“Inky purple color. Highly expressive aromas of boysenberry, blueberry, smoke, vanilla and cocoa powder, with a sexy floral undertone. Juicy, finely etched dark berry flavors are shockingly lithe and focused, with fine-grained tannins adding support. Very rich wine, with strong finishing sweetness and a bite of racy minerality. Offers an impressive blend of power and vivacity.”
94 points, Stephen Tanzer
