Italian Bruschetta

Italian Bruschetta

The beginning of March sparks a high level of interest in spring and sunshine, as well as quick and tasty snacks.  This Italian classic is super easy to make and quick to clean up!

As a snack, it is fabulous and tasty treat.  But it’s perfect as an appetizer or a full meal as well.

Pair with our Casamatta Toscana white from Bibi Graetz, a Tuscan wine perfect with the bruschetta.



8 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
1/3 c chopped fresh basil
1/4 c shredded Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tsp olive oil
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 loaf French bread, toasted and sliced


In a bowl, toss together the tomatoes, basil, Parmesan cheese and garlic. Mix in the balsamic vinegar, olive oil, kosher salt and pepper. Serve on toasted bread slices.
